Somewhere along the lines of life I heard somebody refer to books as magical portals because:
it is years of life, work, and wisdom put down on pages that we can read and learn in a fraction of the time.
I'm quoting super loosely but the energy stands.
Children's Literature
Being a classroom teacher has exposed me to infinite opportunities to delve into the world of children's literature. While my first experience with books was that of a curious child who read for competitive purposes, like filling up a reading log to then exchange for a prize (usually a book to own), revisiting them as an adult, for the purpose of teaching and with a slight grasp on psychology, I have grown a fascination for all the lessons that are hidden in the pages of these seemingly simple books.
